About the Job

Solvenow Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical design project teams in creating world-class designs for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments.

Job Summary:

  • Lead electrical design project teams to create innovative and efficient electrical designs for various projects, including power, process, corporate, healthcare, pipeline, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government, and military facilities.
  • Develop and implement electrical design plans, adapting to budget constraints, design factors, or client needs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and quality control.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and industry professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and contractors to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales and marketing efforts to identify key pursuits and develop new business opportunities.
  • Lead the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve financial performance targets.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to QA/QC processes and company safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program and successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering a plus.
  • 7 years of electrical engineering experience, with EPC project experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred.
  • Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures, including ANSI and IEEE Standards.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading electrical design teams and delegating work tasks to team members.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications.
  • Ability to travel.
