We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, developing and implementing procurement strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation and contract administration
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) and other regulatory requirements
- Perform cost and price analysis, and develop negotiation strategies
- Place purchase orders and manage procurement complexity
- Travel to supplier facilities as needed to conduct business
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or other heavily regulated industries
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience analyzing cost and pricing data and determining proposal compliance
- Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including Statement of Work (SOW) review
- Experience placing purchase orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity
- SAP-based environment experience
- Ability to successfully execute a competitive procurement, including development of evaluation criteria
