About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, developing and implementing procurement strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation and contract administration
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) and other regulatory requirements
  • Perform cost and price analysis, and develop negotiation strategies
  • Place purchase orders and manage procurement complexity
  • Travel to supplier facilities as needed to conduct business
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or other heavily regulated industries
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience analyzing cost and pricing data and determining proposal compliance
  • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including Statement of Work (SOW) review
  • Experience placing purchase orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity
  • SAP-based environment experience
  • Ability to successfully execute a competitive procurement, including development of evaluation criteria
