Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a System Administrator. The successful candidate will work closely with our cross-functional team to design, install, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation, container-based approaches, and cloud computing. Experience with monitoring tools, virtual desktop infrastructure, and enterprise storage solutions is also highly desirable.

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing recommended fixes. You will also work closely with our team to evaluate factors such as reporting formats, cost constraints, and security restrictions to determine the best hardware and software configurations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and zero years of experience
  • Knowledge of one or more operating systems such as Linux, Windows, or AIX
  • Experience with infrastructure automation approaches and tools such as Ansible and Terraform
  • Experience working with container-based approaches
  • Familiarity with cloud computing such as AWS
  • Experience with monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure
  • Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Lean, Theory of Constraints)
  • Must have a collaborative mentality with an ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to advise technicians, engineering designers, or other technical support personnel as needed and recommended enterprise-level system changes
  • Evaluate factors such as reporting formats, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine appropriate hardware and/or software configuration
  • Experience ensuring DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) are understood and solutions are automated
  • Troubleshoot outages or other system errors and implement/recommended fix actions, as necessary
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
  • Operating System Certificates validating depth of knowledge
