Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement quality IT system infrastructure and solutions to support the agency's services.
  • Develop and maintain existing systems infrastructures, including hardware, OS, and software updates/upgrades.
  • Develop and administer disaster recovery systems and business continuity plans in coordination with the Director of Technology.
  • Manage virtualization and storage infrastructure, including VMware and Hyper-V technologies and SAN/NAS solutions.
  • Deploy, support, and maintain email infrastructure, including email routing, filtering, and security solutions.
  • Deploy and support the agency's cloud deployments, including Microsoft 365/Office 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Implement, administer, and manage the organization's PKI, including internal and external certificates.
  • Manage the agency intranet site, including updates, upgrades, changes to site design, and other content and non-content related changes.
  • Collaborate with the IT team, provide training, share knowledge and skills, and serve as 3rd-level escalation support on systems issues.
  • Develop and update documentation for systems and solutions.
  • Support the team in efficiency and process, including implementing and training on tools for remote support and management.
  • Administer and manage endpoint devices, including desktop computers, laptops, and phones.
  • Identify security concerns and implement security solutions and procedures to mitigate risk.
  • Administer and maintain the phone system.
  • Administer and manage database systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency support calls.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of work experience or a bachelor's degree in a technology or related field.
  • Previous Windows Server support and helpdesk experience.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Dependability and punctuality regarding scheduling and attendance.
