Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager of Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE), you will play a pivotal role in shaping a safer, healthier, and more sustainable future at our manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and enhance our SHE programs, driving continuous improvement across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and enhance safety programs through hands-on assistance, program implementation, training, and organizing monthly meetings and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA, and FSSC 22000, while implementing dsm-firmenich's SHE Policies.
  • Lead site SHE-S audits and environmental programs for ongoing improvement.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance for hazardous materials, waste management, wastewater, and DOT regulations, engaging with relevant authorities as needed.
  • Track and analyze injury and safety data to identify trends, report metrics to management, and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Promote a safety culture in manufacturing, office, and lab settings, supporting line management in safety initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on safe work permitting processes (e.g., hot work, lock-out/tag-out, work at height, ergonomics), including writing permits and auditing related documentation.
