Position Summary:

The Emerging Market Credit team is in search of a Junior Credit Research Analyst to be located in Atlanta. The selected candidate will report directly to the Head of Emerging Markets Credit Research and will be tasked with performing comprehensive fundamental research across various sectors, including Oil & Gas and Utilities, focusing on issuers primarily in Latin America and the CEEMEA regions.

The Junior Credit Research Analyst will deliver investment insights to the EM team and the broader investment platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance investment performance at the security level for assigned Emerging Market coverage, contributing value to the investment process at both industry and sub-industry levels while collaborating with analysts and portfolio managers to assess key portfolio risks.
  • Ensure the integrity and compliance with the credit research process, demonstrating strong fundamental research capabilities and ESG analysis.
  • Collaborate with Research heads, Portfolio Managers, and Client Portfolio Managers to support commercial business activities, including client engagement and branding initiatives.
  • Participate in relevant sector teams and support investment summits.
  • Engage actively with other investors to facilitate top-down and bottom-up initiatives as necessary.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with issuers and sell-side entities.
Qualifications:

Experience: 0-3 years in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline.

Skills: A collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Basic understanding of corporate finance and financial accounting. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Education: Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) is required. A Master's degree and/or CFA designation is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Arrangement:
