Key Responsibilities
  • Underwriting: Lead the commercial underwriting process, analyzing financial statements, projections, and business plans to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage assigned portfolios, monitoring performance and trends, and identifying issues and opportunities for remediation.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements, providing expert advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Deal Team Management: Manage a team of analysts and associates, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure their success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis.
  • Mastery level proficiency with MS Office Desktop applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sound credit skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role with a commercial financial institution.
  • Industry or sub-sector expertise.
  • Mastery of Truist Bank operating systems, including COMPASS and other Commercial applications.
