JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Film and Flexible Material Recovery is tasked with overseeing the Film and Flexible Recycling Coalition and associated projects aimed at enhancing the recovery of film and flexible materials within the residential recycling framework.
This role is integral to the Materials Advancement division, concentrating on the national recycling landscape and the integration of regional strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, refine, and implement strategies for film and flexible material recovery
- Oversee and direct research initiatives with defined objectives
- Manage data effectively
- Facilitate Coalition meetings and related work stream discussions
Collaborate with team members to establish connections with grantees and processors
- Ensure alignment and effective communication with project stakeholders
Engage cross-departmentally with essential teams
- Support communication strategies pertaining to the Coalition's initiatives
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Expertise in recycling, particularly in film and flexible materials
- Familiarity with local recycling programs and corporate sustainability practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Capacity to prioritize tasks and engage various stakeholders
