About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Training and Development to join our team at Paris Baguette - Support. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our training and development strategy, creating innovative and progressive materials, and implementing effective learning programs to support our high-velocity growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development strategy that aligns with our business objectives and enhances our brand.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify training needs and develop targeted programs to support their departments and people.
  • Manage the training operations of our Training Center, Bake U, and Cake U, ensuring seamless new store openings and effective talent development.
  • Supervise a team of trainers who deliver consistent results and champion our brand and culture.
  • Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of our learning and development programs and report results to management.
  • Manage third-party training vendors and programs to ensure cost-effectiveness and high-quality content.
  • Confer with Legal and Risk Management to mitigate liability through effective training initiatives and curriculums.
  • Prepare and adhere to training budgets and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • At least 7-10+ years of progressive training and development experience in a fast-paced and rapidly growing retail environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience with a fast-growing Franchise company is required, with a focus on high-velocity new store openings.
  • Bakery/Café experience is preferred, with a passion for people and a dynamic work style.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to work with diverse teams and provide constructive feedback and recognition.
  • Ability to travel to all current Corporate and Franchise locations, as well as proposed openings.
