Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Patch Management: Provide comprehensive support for patch-related activities to ensure adherence to the latest compliance requirements.
  • Research & Analysis: Investigate and evaluate software patches, registry updates, and configuration changes across diverse infrastructures to uphold a secure and stable enterprise environment.
  • Technical Support: Deliver ongoing management and implementation support for all network hardware and software within Liggett Vector Brands.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A robust understanding of industry best practices in patch management, with experience in aligning business processes to these standards.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with business and development teams, balancing business needs with patch requirements.
  • Proficiency in scripting for the automated installation of patches and software, particularly using PowerShell.
  • A strong grasp of network, system, and application security principles.
  • Familiarity with Red Hat and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with various vulnerability scanning tools and automation techniques.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Security Update Guide portal for interpreting security vulnerabilities and patch issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for interacting with all organizational levels.
Additional Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in supporting medium to large networks.
  • Experience with computer operating systems and software installation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work outside of regular business hours as needed.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered.
