Job Summary

As a key member of our culinary team, the Executive Chef Assistant will provide exceptional support to the Executive Chef in all aspects of the main, grill, and/or banquet kitchens. This includes ordering, scheduling, sanitation, maintenance, employee development, and performance reviews.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, including ordering, inventory, and supply chain management.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen schedules, ensuring optimal labor costs and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and execute menus, including ala carte and banquet options.
  • Train, supervise, and direct kitchen staff to ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of kitchen sanitation, safety, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee knowledge, skills, and team spirit.
  • Prepare work schedules, monitor payroll costs, and Kronos reports as requested.
  • Interact with Members and guests professionally, handling changes and last-minute requests with ease.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience as a line cook.
  • Prefer culinary training or equivalent experience.
  • Health Sanitation Card.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced indoor environment.
