As a Proposal Manager at Webcor, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business development efforts, overseeing proposals and pursuits from identification through to award. Key Responsibilities- Assess RFQs and RFPs to ensure proposals meet client requirements and deadlines.
- Manage the full lifecycle of proposals, from development to final submission.
- Collaborate with business development leads, proposal sponsors, and internal teams to manage competing deadlines and deliver winning proposals.
- Develop capture strategies that enhance the competitiveness and effectiveness of proposals.
- Lead proposal teams consisting of junior marketing coordinators, technical staff, and subject matter experts, providing guidance and direction throughout the proposal process.
- Develop and design visually compelling, well-organized proposal templates, interview presentations, and graphics that align with Webcor's brand standards.
- Write and edit technical and marketing content tailored to client specifications, transforming complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
- Manage CRM data entry and reporting, maintain the marketing information database, and ensure accurate and up-to-date project photography and collateral.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering growth and development within the marketing and proposal teams.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in English, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Communication, Graphic Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing and construction, with an emphasis on proposal management. Senior Proposal Manager: Minimum 6 years of experience.
- Proven experience in developing compliant, compelling, and persuasive proposals, with an emphasis on AEC industry experience.
- Strong familiarity with construction management, engineering, and architecture concepts, and the ability to translate technical information into clear, persuasive language.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership experience managing proposal teams and collaborating with technical and creative staff.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.
