Key Responsibilities

The Lead Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting general ledger accounting, managing month-end close activities, which include the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations, conducting financial analysis, and generating ad-hoc reports as required. This position also involves the preparation of reports and other financial data for various healthcare business segments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries during month-end close, including but not limited to monthly revenue and expense entries.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated internal financial reports monthly.
- Ensure financial records comply with GAAP and company policies.
- Aid in resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Collaborate with leadership and finance teams to understand performance and inform accruals.
- Identify opportunities for business improvement and present findings.
- Facilitate monthly and annual reporting, review, and analysis of results, providing variance explanations.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Expertise in Excel functions, including XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, SUMIFS, and pivot tables.
- Proven ability to build models from scratch to analyze various scenarios and outcomes, delivering accurate and actionable insights.
- Skilled in manipulating and interpreting large datasets, performing data cleaning and validation.
- Ability to translate data into actionable information and communicate key findings concisely for management decision-making.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects while adapting to changing priorities.
- Team-oriented with the ability to interact across various organizational levels.
- Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and ownership of responsibilities.
- Effective project management skills, including adherence to timelines and overcoming obstacles.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- CPA and public accounting experience preferred but not mandatory.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in healthcare firms is advantageous but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and perform at a high level under pressure.
- Detail-oriented approach to daily activities with a self-starter attitude.

Compensation

Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $83,891.00/Yr.
Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $116,704.00/Yr.
