Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our team and play a key role in building out our actuarial team from the ground up. As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the actuarial, clinical, finance, and strategy teams with data analysis and modeling, designing actuarial processes to optimize organizational efficiency, and leading in designing and building claim analysis data tools to stratify large data sets across different financial and outcomes metrics to provide recommendations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the actuarial, clinical, finance, and strategy teams with data analysis and modeling
  • Design actuarial processes to optimize organizational efficiency
  • Lead in designing and building claim analysis data tools to stratify large data sets across different financial and outcomes metrics to provide recommendations
  • Lead in designing and building tools to help in trend projections, forecasting, Value Based Care modeling, and risk arrangement assessment and tracking
Requirements
  • Bachelors in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • Five or more years of experience in a team-based service environment
  • Five or more years of experience in Managed Care, Health, or related industry preferred
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills using Excel
  • Strong data analysis skills using SQL and/or SAS and R or Python
