Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Alarm Systems Technician to join our team at TEKsystems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing, troubleshooting and repairing alarm panels, access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.

Key Responsibilities

Service Calls:

  • Perform routine and emergency service calls to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot, replace, and/or repair malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.

Training & Support:

  • Proctor, coach, and teach others on system operation and functionality.
  • Provide reliable, high-quality customer support.

System Management:

  • Perform system testing and signal verification.
  • Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Ensure accurate documentation of service and hours worked.
  • Complete and submit all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Skill Requirements:

  • 3-5 years commercial experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing alarm panels, access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
  • Some experience servicing Edwards, Lenel, and Honeywell burglar alarm panels preferred.
  • Ability to work as needed and take service calls on a daily basis.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
