Electrical Maintenance Technician

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team in Boise, Idaho.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on medium and low voltage systems, including distribution switchgear, UPS units, and power quality systems.
  • Conduct inspections and coordinate work activities performed by contractors.
  • Provide timely and detailed preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment.
  • Restore equipment to service as soon as possible in the event of a system failure.
  • Identify and respond to alarm conditions.
  • Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues.
  • Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and maximize system stability.
  • Maintain records on maintenance, testing, and calibrations of equipment.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of electrical industrial or semiconductor experience with 2 years of maintenance experience.
  • Valid Electrical journeymen license, 5 years' experience preferred.
