Transforming Electrical Systems for a Brighter Future

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Manager for Facilities to join our team in Boise, Idaho.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers that are the subject matter experts for the electrical, instrumentation and controls, fire alarm and toxic gas monitoring systems across the entire Boise campus. This includes ensuring the reliability of all site electrical, instrumentation and controls, fire alarm and toxic gas monitoring systems, working closely with customers to ensure daily operations, maintenance and foreseeable equipment failures don't affect production, and managing department financial budgeting, forecasting, and expenditures for electrical system maintenance and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of engineers responsible for electrical, instrumentation and controls, fire alarm and toxic gas monitoring systems
- Ensure the reliability of all site electrical, instrumentation and controls, fire alarm and toxic gas monitoring systems
- Work closely with customers to ensure daily operations, maintenance and foreseeable equipment failures don't affect production
- Manage department financial budgeting, forecasting, and expenditures for electrical system maintenance and projects
- Provide electrical design input on system changes and expansions, and support those projects through commissioning
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies and their impact on existing systems
- Use an advanced CMMS system for asset management, equipment reliability, labor tracking and system accounting
- Review trends and identify opportunities to reduce utility usage
- Develop long term strategies by monitoring mature processes and quantifying equipment 'end of life' data
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an engineering or relevant field or equivalent education and 4 years of facilities experience
- Experience in semiconductor front end manufacturing and PE certification preferred
