Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Yoh. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination
  • Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
  • Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
  • Schedules appointments and makes follow-up phone calls to patients
  • Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at the front desk
  • Keys data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records

Requirements:

  • At least one to two years of clinical experience in Occupational Health, Urgent Care, and/or similar background
  • National certification in Medical Assisting or Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship completed and passed
  • CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) Certification must include "hands-on" evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor
