Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Service Center Manager to join our team at Valvoline Instant Oil Change. As a key member of our service center team, you will be responsible for assisting the Service Center Manager in leading a high-performance team that delivers exceptional customer service and maintains a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service Center Manager in daily operations and oversight of the service center
  • Perform oil changes and additional car maintenance services
  • Deliver a positive first impression to each guest with a warm and friendly greeting
  • Build trust and win repeat, loyal customers
  • Mentor, lead, and train the team to optimize their development
  • Help maintain a clean, well-organized service center and facilitate a safe and secure working environment

Requirements:

  • Six months of supervisory experience required, preferably in a retail environment
  • Knowledge of cash handling, facility, and safety control policies and practices
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Have full mobility and can twist, stoop, and bend
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
