We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Reston Hospital Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job Summary
The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular imaging. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, procedure details, and imaging results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
- RDMS certification and BCLS certification required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
