Ultrasound Technologist PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Reston Hospital Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including obstetric, gynecologic, and musculoskeletal exams
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including education, support, and comfort
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a program in Ultrasound Technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association
  • RDMS certification
  • BCLS certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
