About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at Reston Hospital Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures safely and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Consider age-related factors in patient care, treatment, education, and evaluation, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Utilize appropriate resources to complete assignments within allocated time periods, adapting to changes in volume and acuity demands.
  • Remain calm in crisis situations, adhering to attendance and tardiness policies, and supporting responsible staffing decisions.
  • Pursue professional development to continually improve patient care and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a program in Ultrasound Technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or documented equivalent education, experience, and training.
  • RDMS certification and BCLS required.
  • Ability to perform ultrasound procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
