Fabricator, Equipment Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator, Equipment Assembly Specialist to join our team at Iconma LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
Routes wire harness to supports per blueprint instruction and client specifications for the 787 program.
Builds connectors, splices wires, crimps, and terminates wires.
Installs connectors to receptacles and electronic components.
Performs repairs, rework processes to incorporate authorized changes outlined by engineering instructions.
Fibers optic clean and inspection, light loss testing, routing, and installation.
Bonds and grounds, including CRNs, jumpers, ground stud installation, and resistance testing.
Operates mechanical lifts of various types.
Uses chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes.
Works around energized sources (electrical equipment and hazards/shock) and exposure to constant noise.
Inspects work quality and checks for FOD (Foreign Object Debris).
Inspects to ensure First Pass Quality (FPQ) is attained per engineering drawings and specifications.
Performs finger manipulation (keyboarding, other).
Reads from a computer screen, printed drawings, or documents.
Adheres to high standards of Safety and Compliance to regulation.
Verifies and ensures FAA compliance with Quality Management System.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
7+ years of experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials.
7+ years of experience in wire bundle installations and aircraft electrical systems troubles.
Proficient in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong effective communication, work ethic, and sense of urgency for completing assigned tasks/work.
1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Aviation experience or completed aviation degrees.
Education/Experience:
Typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
Experience understanding and interpreting detailed written and verbal work instructions and processes.
Proficient in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong effective communication, work ethic, and sense of urgency for completing assigned tasks/work.
