About the Role:

As an Emergency Department Nurse at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, you will be part of a team that provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and to develop your skills in assessing and prioritizing care based on trauma.

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly assess and prioritize care based on trauma for all patient populations
  • Stabilize patients needing emergency care
  • Work with an experienced, supportive team of emergency professionals including emergency physicians, other emergency-trained nurses, licensed radiologists, and certified laboratory technologists
  • Demonstrate a passion for excellence in emergency medicine

Qualifications:

  • Current WA State RN license is required
  • Recent RN experience with acute care patients
  • CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work
  • Other certifications may be required for specialty areas
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing
