We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced Emergency department in Tukwila, WA. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comfortable with client communication via phone and face-to-face
  • Report patient signalment, problem list, and plan during nursing rounds
  • Take vitals, including accurately counting heart rate, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate, and effort
  • Stocking, cleaning, and laundry as needed

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Radiographs, phlebotomy, placing IV catheters, and other skills as needed per Washington state guidelines
  • Trupanion pet insurance and discounts to our associates for pet treatments, procedures, and food
