As a Supervisor of Nursing, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision to the nursing staff in the Emergency Department, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Oversee patient care activities, ensuring timely assessment, treatment, and coordination of care for patients in emergency situations.
- Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff, providing opportunities for professional development, and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives within the department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet the demands of the Emergency Department.
- Provide leadership during emergencies, ensuring appropriate responses and interventions are executed effectively.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
