The Business Development Director will be responsible for identifying and successfully guiding qualified advisor candidates through SFA Partners' recruiting process to affiliation.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage an active pipeline of qualified advisor candidates that meet or exceed SFA Partners' target profile.
- Conduct mutual due diligence, including coordinating and hosting home office visits.
- Design and close offers to affiliate that meet or exceed SFA Partners' revenue goals.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of seven (7) years in asset management sales and/or relationship management.
- Series 7 and 63.
- Proven track record of growing advisor relationships and closing business generating revenue.
- Experience with intermediaries (advisors and consultants).
- Strategic thinker committed to collaborating within a team environment.
- Possess high energy, success-driven motivation, and a commitment to excellence.
- High level of interpersonal and relationship skills essential with the ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills (grammar, writing, and editing).
- Additional advanced degrees and/or industry designations.
- Series 66 or 65.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, regulation, and operations.
80% of advisor interaction will be via phone or Zoom. The remaining 20% will be presenting in person either at SFA Home office or the advisor's place of business.
