POSITION SUMMARY

Join our team at RealTruck as an Automation Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing our manufacturing processes to ensure they meet high standards of quality and efficiency. We are looking for a dedicated professional to spearhead automation projects, implement lean methodologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Oversee the design and implementation of automation systems for existing and upcoming production lines.
  • Diagnose and fine-tune automation machinery to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to guarantee manufacturability and effective automation solutions.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing practices to improve safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Manage fabrication and tool & die operations to meet production requirements.
  • Perform product evaluations and testing to assess commercial feasibility and operational functionality.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks software.
  • Experience with Fanuc Robotics.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of DFMEA and PFMEA methodologies.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position may involve occasional travel.
