Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Generator Repair Specialist with expertise in diagnosing and repairing a variety of generator systems, primarily in residential settings, along with some commercial and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service and communication abilities, ensuring a positive experience for both internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and repairs on generator units.
- Provide detailed estimates following diagnostics for potential repairs.
- Complete and upload service reports into the company’s CRM system.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Generator Technician or four years’ experience as an Electrician with a focus on auto or generator repair.
- Familiarity with major generator brands such as Generac, Kohler, Cummins, Briggs and Stratton, Champion, MTU, and Volvo Penta.
- Proven ability to accurately diagnose and repair generators ranging from 10kw to 200KW.
- Collaborate effectively with Maintenance, Production, and Sales Departments.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in real-time situations.
- Prior military experience or completion of a trade school program is advantageous.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in manufacturer training programs.
- Possess a valid CA Driver's License with a clean driving record.
