POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role, you will provide essential support to the compensation framework of the Houston Independent School District. Your responsibilities will include the development and management of competitive salary structures and pay scales, as well as conducting thorough job assessments and evaluations. You will ensure the fair and consistent application of employee compensation while adhering to relevant laws and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advise and assist internal stakeholders, including talent management professionals and district leadership, on the implementation of compensation policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on various compensation initiatives, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable compensation regulations and standards.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's Degree is required.*

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

3 to 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.*
