Under general guidance, this role contributes to the compensation framework of the Houston Independent School District. The incumbent will design and implement competitive salary structures and compensation tiers while conducting thorough job assessments and evaluations. This position ensures the fair and consistent application of employee remuneration and adheres to relevant laws and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage salary ranges and compensation strategies.
  • Perform comprehensive job analysis and evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable compensation laws and standards.
  • Provide expert advice and support to internal stakeholders, including Talent Acquisition and district management, regarding HISD's compensation policies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on compensation-related initiatives, policies, and procedures.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree*

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
