In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing the compensation framework of the Houston Independent School District. You will be responsible for designing and managing competitive salary structures and conducting thorough job assessments and evaluations. This position ensures the fair and consistent application of employee remuneration while adhering to relevant laws and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and implementation of compensation strategies.
  • Conduct job analysis and evaluations to establish equitable pay structures.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including talent management professionals and district leaders, on compensation policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on compensation-related initiatives and procedural enhancements.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's Degree is required. Candidates with a distinctive combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

3 to 5 years of relevant experience is preferred. Candidates with a unique blend of education and work experience that do not align perfectly with these criteria may be evaluated.
