Accounts Payable Coordinator Job Description
At United Franchise Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. As an AP Coordinator, you will be responsible for daily accounts payable processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to our vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and approve invoices for payment
- Audit invoices against purchase orders and research discrepancies
- Enter accounts payable data and invoice coding into Great Plains
- Prepare and print accounts payable checks, electronic funds transfers, and wire transfers
- Confirm accounts payable is up to date for month end closing
- Obtain and file tax resale certificates and W-9's
- Ensure monthly account closing deadlines are adhered to
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years' experience processing AP
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures (GAAP)
- Experience using an ERP system; Great Plains (MS Dynamics) experience is desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook software
