About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auditorium Support Specialist to join our team at AVI-SPL. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support for auditorium and event operations, ensuring smooth execution of all audio-visual and video conferencing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze performance trends and troubleshoot issues to improve conference room operations
  • Lead the setup, operation, and teardown of AV equipment for events
  • Assist with bringing new rooms online and ensure room readiness through testing and procedural implementation
  • Provide end-user training and manage equipment inventory
  • Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs with vendors
  • Support high-profile executive meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and performance

Requirements

  • Effectively communicate with employees, customers, and colleagues
  • Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner and to solder and crimp connectors
  • Ability to manage small to medium projects
  • Familiarity with minor programming (AMX/Creston) - changes and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work and think independently and ensure to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video, and control
  • Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standard
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of audiovisual integration and/or service experience
  • Formal education in Electronics or related field
  • The following training certifications: AMX Intro to Networking for AV Professionals, AMX Programmer I, Crestron Professional Installation, Essentials of Crestron Programming Certification, Exton AV Associate Certification, InfoComm Quick Start to the Audio-Visual Industry, InfoComm CTS General Certification
