Key Responsibilities:
- Drive occupancy goals by implementing effective marketing strategies, leasing apartments, and ensuring the property maintains excellent curb appeal.
- Foster a welcoming community atmosphere by enhancing resident relations through engaging activities and effective communication.
- Ensure timely rent collection and actively manage delinquency issues.
- Maintain professionalism and courteous interactions with residents, team members, and vendors.
- Contribute significantly to achieving the management company's objectives.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of dedicated, resident-focused sales professionals.
- Oversee the operational activities of the property, including reporting and month-end processes.
- Collaborate with construction teams on property development, ensuring quality and readiness of all units.
- Manage vendor relationships, including service arrangements and invoice processing.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain high standards.
- Ensure compliance with lease agreements and manage all related documentation.
- Enhance resident retention through effective lease renewal strategies.
Qualifications:
- A robust background in multifamily property management is essential, with lease-up experience being highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing multiple direct reports.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve positive outcomes while upholding core values.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities, particularly with financial statements.
- Proven leadership experience and responsibility for on-site project management.
- A proactive approach to accountability and goal achievement.
- Familiarity with RealPage and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
