Position Title: Research Intern
Company: Signature Estate & Investment Advisors, LLC
Department: Research
Reporting To: RFP Department Manager
Internship Duration: 3-12 months
Position Summary: This role involves supporting various teams within the organization by engaging in research activities, data collection, and collaborating with team members to gain insights into the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with portfolio associates and analysts to facilitate daily research and sales support operations.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals for new clients and conduct investment evaluations.
- Analyze and compare data from industry publications and proprietary resources.
- Document and communicate research findings to analysts, associates, and traders.
- Maintain and update financial and valuation models utilizing Microsoft Excel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution, or relevant experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Preferred background in Business, Finance, or Economics, although candidates from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy in work output.
- Genuine interest in investment and financial processes.
