About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate General Counsel to join our team at Cornerstone Research. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing legal counsel and support to our corporate groups and consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to our corporate groups and consultants on a wide range of matters, including contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and litigation support.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support the growth and success of our business.
  • Collaborate with our business teams to identify and mitigate legal risks, and to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct research and analysis on complex legal issues, and provide recommendations to our business teams.
  • Work closely with our outside counsel to ensure that our legal needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of directly related experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to learn and understand the firm's financial and operational functions.
  • Client service mindset, with a focus on providing superior service to our internal and external clients.
  • Juris Doctorate and admission to State Bar required.
