Job Opportunity: Principal Scientist, Analytical Development

Meet is partnering with a clinical stage biotech to fill a key role in their San Diego-based team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in late-stage analytical method development, qualification, validation, and life-cycle management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement analytical methods for in-process and release testing.
  • Own assay control strategies for internally developed assays, with a focus on cell-based potency methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, partner organizations, and governance teams to drive effective communication.
  • Author technical documents, including method SOPs, development reports, qualification protocols/reports, and QBD risk assessments.
Requirements:
  • PhD or MS in Cell Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 4-8+ years of analytical development experience.
  • Proven track record in managing late-stage and commercial cell-based assay validation.
