The Regional Fleet Operations Manager leads, motivates, develops, and manages a strong fleet operations team at Sixt rent a car's locations. The company delegates considerable responsibility and authority to the Regional Fleet Operations Manager to make numerous and varied decisions to reduce vehicle downtimes and improve cost, requiring good judgment, honesty, and integrity.


The Regional Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and monitoring subordinates as well as vendors to ensure that the fleet is maintained in accordance with established standards, within acceptable timeframes, and in a cost-efficient manner.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Meet or exceed goals for out-of-service percentage, in fleet and de-fleet processing times, as well as repair and maintenance cost.
  • Manage 4-6 Repair Managers and their teams at regional rental locations.
  • Evaluate accident repair cases and make repair or rent decisions for the region.
  • Responsible for the associate development of all teams.
  • Serves as a senior leader and subject matter expert in the area for all fleet and repair decisions.
  • Holds branch and repair locations to Sixt repair guidelines and standards.
  • Travels to airport locations within the network for coverage and development of teams as required by business needs.
  • Provides reports and creates presentations as required.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of management experience, experience in fleet maintenance, ASE certification and/or a bachelor's degree, and strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.


Additionally, the candidate should have familiarity and working knowledge of vehicle maintenance, collision repair, systems, components, and design, as well as excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.


Sixt offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000 per year, plus a bonus of up to $50,000 annually, and a company car.


The salary range is based on the company's market competitiveness and the candidate's qualifications and experience.
