We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Lee's Summit Medical Center. As a RN Cardiovascular Telemetry, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by medical providers.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
The Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit is a 18-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Our team provides care to patients with high acuity needs, including chest pain, cath lab post-procedure, vascular surgical patients, heart failure, and patients on CV drips. We offer a challenging and rewarding work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state of Missouri RN licensure required.
- Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills required.
- BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
