Job Summary

HCA MidAmerica Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Lees Summit, Missouri. As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Rehabilitation unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those undergoing cardiac rehabilitation.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take prompt action to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and seamless care transitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent required.
  • Current Missouri RN license or multistate RN license with ability to obtain MO RN license within 90 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of employment.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a cardiology-related field, preferably in a cardiovascular laboratory, emergency, or critical care setting.
