The Market Intelligence Manager is responsible for continuously monitoring, analyzing, and summarizing energy market dynamics, including regulatory, policy, legislative, technical, financial, and emerging technology trends.

This role is crucial in shaping, refining, and enhancing the company's project development strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor energy market dynamics to ensure the company stays informed of industry trends and emerging developments.
  • Analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, using this information to inform and guide company strategy and operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the regulatory landscape, interpreting their potential impact on the energy sector and the company's strategic positioning.
  • Monitor new legislative actions affecting the renewable energy market, communicating their implications, and recommending potential courses of action.
  • Integrate technical aspects of market dynamics into strategic decisions, ensuring that technical perspectives are considered in planning.
  • Analyze the financial aspects of the energy market, including tariffs, subsidies, and market incentives, to predict their impact on future projects.
  • Assess the competitive landscape, identifying key players, analyzing their strategies, and uncovering opportunities or threats for the company.
  • Provide actionable insights from thorough analysis to shape and evolve the company's market strategy in a dynamic environment.
  • Offer analytical support for project development planning, ensuring alignment with current and anticipated market trends.
  • Regularly produce detailed reports and presentations that convey market intelligence findings and their strategic implications for the company.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders through conferences, forums, and meetings to gain market insights and establish the company as a key industry player.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a unified, well-coordinated approach to market analysis and strategy development.
  • Commit to continuous learning by staying updated on emerging tools, methodologies, and best practices in market intelligence and analytics.
  • Proactively identify potential market risks, conducting risk assessments, and providing well-researched recommendations for mitigation.
  • Conduct ad hoc research on special topics to support decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Science, or a related field; a Master's degree in Business Administration or Market Analysis is preferred.
  • Over 3 years of experience in market intelligence, analytics, or a related role, ideally within the renewable energy sector or a similar industry.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently on projects and key deliverables.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively communicate conclusions and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory and legislative environment related to the renewable energy sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience producing detailed reports and presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect market insights to actionable business strategies and operational planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
