Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Financial Analyst Intern to join our team at National Life Group. As a Treasury Financial Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Treasury functions, including cash management, financial analysis, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process incoming cash equivalents and prepare bi-weekly reports for Compliance.
  • Upload agent web payments into National Life's ledger.
  • Complete daily deposits by reconciling bank statements and uploading deposits into National Life's ledger.
  • Collaborate with the Treasury team in validating documented processes and providing appropriate updates as identified.
  • Assist in updating Treasury reporting and refining as necessary.
  • Support ongoing Treasury activities that may require collaboration with other business areas.
  • Shadow the Cash Manager on the cash management process.
  • Support the Director of Treasury in the Rating Agency process.
Requirements
  • Proficient with MS Office tools.
  • Good financial and business acumen.
  • Coursework in Finance or Business administration a plus.
