Position Overview:


The Surgical Tech at HR Employer Solutions Group plays a vital role in assisting surgeons and medical staff during surgical interventions. This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of surgical methods, instruments, and patient management, and must thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time role within the organization.



Compensation & Benefits:
This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $30, with weekly payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and materials prior to and during operations.
  • Support the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies to the surgeon and other personnel.
  • Ensure a sterile environment is maintained throughout surgical procedures.
  • Assist in preparing and positioning patients for surgical interventions.
  • Manage specimens and tissue samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Clean and replenish the operating room following each surgery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate the smooth operation of surgical activities.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control regulations.
  • Maintain precise documentation and records of surgical events.
  • Stay informed about advancements in surgical technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Prior experience as a surgical tech is preferred.
  • Familiarity with surgical procedures, instruments, and materials.
  • Exceptional hand-eye coordination and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to remain composed and focused in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting.
  • CPR certification.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
