JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing sterile environments for surgical procedures.
- Ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized.
- Maintaining adequate inventory of surgical supplies.
- Assisting in patient preparation by cleaning and disinfecting surgical sites.
- Providing support during surgical operations by passing instruments and necessary supplies.
- Monitoring and managing surgical supply levels.
- Keeping current with advancements in surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedural practices.
- Collaborating effectively with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and the overall surgical team.
- Contributing to high-quality patient care.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities. Proficient in handling detailed and confidential information, with required computer skills. Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with precision under pressure. Demonstrates sensitivity, maturity, and adaptability in challenging situations.
