**Job Title:** Leasing Officer

**Location:** Laguna Woods Village, California

**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Leasing Officer to join our team at Village Management Services, Inc. in Laguna Woods Village, California. As a key member of our property administration department, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient leasing operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Attend to walk-in customers and respond to inbound calls from owners, tenants, real estate agents, and property management personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing documents, cash transactions, and lease applications.
  • Process lease agreements, rent payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist prospective lessees with inquiries about village regulations, tenant privileges, and application procedures.
  • Verify member vesting status, background checks, credit reports, and other requirements prior to lease authorization.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant customer service experience preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior citizens and international residents.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with modern office equipment, computers, and office practices.
