Role Overview:

In this position, you will:
  • Offer courteous assistance to clients both in person and via phone concerning product inquiries, pricing, and stock availability.
  • Address customer issues swiftly, escalating more complex matters to management as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with Gardner White stores, managing overflow calls, supporting administrative functions, and liaising with internal teams.
  • Leverage various software applications and social media platforms for data entry and daily communications.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of our furniture offerings, including their features, materials, and styles.
  • Remain updated on product inventory, promotions, and sales events to provide precise information to clients.
  • Carry out any additional responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not entail any supervisory functions.

Work Environment:

You will be situated in a retail office setting.

Physical Demands:

Regular tasks include standing, walking, and bending.

Qualifications for this position:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in customer service or call center
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to maintain composure under pressure
  • Friendly demeanor and a sincere willingness to assist others
  • Adept at multitasking and efficiently managing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with furniture products and industry trends is beneficial
  • Proficient in computer operations and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in cash handling or accounting is advantageous
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with either morning or afternoon shifts based on business needs.

Compensation:

$16 per hour
