Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse II is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, while also supporting the mission and values of WakeMed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 2 years of nursing experience in a related area (or equivalent education and training).
  • Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.

Work Schedule

This role requires a 7p-7a shift, with every fourth weekend and as-needed call requirements.
