The Nuvance Health team is looking for a PRN Vascular Imaging Specialist to enhance its dedicated group of professionals.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with experts in the field while enjoying flexible scheduling as a PRN employee. (Monday - Friday shifts available include 7:30am-4pm, 8am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5pm, 9am-5:30pm; rotating weekends, on-call duties, and holiday shifts may be required). We offer competitive compensation and training for eligible candidates. Registration is required within 18 months of employment. Preference will be given to ARDMS RVT candidates. The PRN rate is $50/hour, plus additional shift differentials. Qualified individuals are encouraged to submit their resumes for consideration.

Position Overview:
Conduct non-invasive vascular examinations with a high level of precision and analytical capability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Admit, monitor, and discharge patients from the vascular laboratory.
- Confirm physician orders on the chart or via phone, specifying the procedures to be performed.
- Verify patient identification and confirm details verbally when possible.
- Introduce yourself to patients and explain the procedures prior to each vascular examination, addressing any questions they may have.
- Perform tests for conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, carotid and vertebral issues, vasculogenic impotence, and venous disorders.
- Inform the physician of preliminary findings if a significantly abnormal result is obtained before the patient is released.
- Execute STAT orders within 15 minutes and routine orders within 24 hours.
- Participate in continuing education programs and mandatory in-services in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all responsibilities related to the position.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

Requirements:
- Registration must be obtained within 18 months of hire. Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and complex instrumentation is essential. Ability to translate clinical findings into accurate preliminary results.

- Minimum of six months in a relevant role.
