Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Tulsa. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to take radiologic films and providing quality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body and provide X-ray therapy to patients.
  • Adjust equipment to correct settings for each examination and determine proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time for each radiograph.
  • Position and instruct patients, arranging, attaching, or adjusting immobilization and supportive devices to obtain precise position and prevent movement.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines, preventing patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.
  • Assist the Radiologist in teaching new Radiologic Technologists and students.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or Certification in a Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Program.
  • 6 months clinical radiology experience.
  • Radiologic Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) obtained within 90 days of hire date or certification from an equivalent radiology registry or licensing agency.
  • BLS and CPR certification.
